All Candles no matter what kind should be burned no more than 3-4 hours at a time. It is important to always let your candle top turn completely liquid from all sides of your vessel before snuffing or gently blowing out your candle. Never use a lid to snuff your candle. Wicks should always be trimmed to 1/4 inch from your candle wax before each burn. If you notice your wick is starting to generate some black smoke that means it is too long and you should snuff it, trim it and relight the candle allowing it to continue burning soot free.

Soy-Coconut wax is considered luxury or high performance because it has two types of plant-based materials in one blend. Coconut wax is much better at throwing scent while sitting on the shelf waiting for the perfect buyer and when it’s lit. Soy-Coconut wax burns with very little to no soot making it a conscious choice for indoor air quality. Coconut wax also has a lower melting point which means it slows the burn allowing your candle to last longer than other types of wax candles.

This is called a wet spot. Because Soy-Coconut wax is plant based and is generally creamier and more flexible than other wax candles, it is subject to the laws of physics. All wax expands when heated and shrinks when cooled. During shipping or even just temperature changes from house to house/room to room, the wax could pull away from the glass. Don’t worry! This does not affect the performance of your candle. It is purely aesthetics, but we don’t hide behind frosted glasses and big labels, we love to see the natural glow of the wax.

Our Wickedless Glo™ collection may not include a wick, but they offer unique benefits that make them just as valuable and in some cases, even longer‑lasting  than a traditional candle. 

Because these wickless products aren’t physically burned, they can safely contain a higher fragrance load. This means richer scent throw, longer-lasting aroma, and a more immersive experience under your warming lamp. Since the wax isn’t being consumed by a flame it will melt slowly and evenly. You enjoy more hours of fragrance from the same amount of wax compared to a burning candle.

Wickedless Glo™ Collection should be used the same way a candle is.  Maximum warming times should not exceed 3-4 hours.  These products hold a higher scent load for maximum distribution in the room.  If you keep your Glo Product under the lamp too long, you risk the wax and oil separating from each other.  If you see this happening, remove the product from the warmer and use a wooden stir stick or a toothpick to gently stir the melted wax.  There is no harm done, allow the wax to re-cool and solidify before rewarming under your lamp.  If there is a lot of oil on top after it resolidifies, dab it with a paper towel.  DO NOT attempt to light a wick if you are warming your candle instead of our Wickedless Glo™ product.  It could ignite and cause a fire risk.

The burn time of each product can vary based on several factors, including the size and material of the vessel, the type of fragrance oil, and how the product is cared for during use. Below is a general guide to what you can expect from each item in our line.

Jar Candles

• 8oz Glass Jar — Typically 25–35 hours of burn time.
• 10oz Glass Jar — Typically 35–45 hours of burn time.

Wickless Warmers

• 8oz Wickedless Glo Tin— Longevity depends on how strong you prefer your scent, but most customers enjoy 40–50 hours of fragrance per tin. Our 4oz Tin will be about half this time.

Tealights

• Average burn time per session is 2.5–4.5 hours.
• Some scents naturally last longer than others.
• For best performance, allow a tealight to burn for at least 1.5 hours before snuffing. You can relight and continue burning in similar increments until the wick can no longer hold a flame.

A Note on Fragrance Oils

Some fragrance oils are naturally heavier and may consume wax more quickly, slightly reducing burn time in jar candles.
In Wickedless Glo Tins,  same heavier oils can actually extend the life of the melt, giving you longer-lasting scent.
